Giving Back to Those Who Served: Bachman’s Honors Local Veteran with a New Roof

Bachman’s Roofing, a trusted leader in roofing and exterior services in Pennsylvania, had the honor of giving away a free roof to a local veteran, Bachman’s Roofing, a trusted leader in roofing and exterior services in Pennsylvania, had the honor of giving away a free roof to a local veteran, as part of a heartfelt “thank you” to those who’ve dedicated their lives and livelihoods to protecting our nation’s freedom.

The giveaway occurred during the Veterans Appreciation Day event at Cabela’s in Hamburg, hosted by Pennsylvania State Senator Chris Gebhard. The event brought out an incredible crowd—veterans, families, community members, and supporters from all across the region. It was a great turnout, with plenty of good conversations, shared stories, and a real sense of appreciation for the folks who’ve served.

Throughout the event, our team welcomed attendees to stop by the Bachman’s booth and nominate a veteran or Gold Star Spouse in need of a new roof. The response was overwhelming—in the best way. We were honored to read through the nominations and learn about the courage, resilience, and dedication of many local heroes.

We’re proud to be able to support veterans in a way that’s tangible and lasting. Being able to help someone who has sacrificed so much is something we don’t take lightly.

We’ve always believed that actions speak louder than words, and providing a roof for someone who has given so much is just one small way to show our appreciation. Watch the full moment here: Watch on YouTube.

Congratulations to our nominee—we were thrilled to be able to help you get a new roof. Thank you to everyone who came out, said hello, and helped us honor the people who made our work possible.

To all our local veterans: thank you. We’re proud to stand with you.
